Conditions and General Information Groups
PRICES
Prices are net Dolcevita Travel, expressed in Euros, per person and per day,(except for Tours that the price is total) valid for groups preconstituted formed by a minimum of 15 people.
They include:
- Percentage of service
- Travel baskets to replace lunches or dinners (to be requested upon confirmation) consisting of sandwiches stuffed with cold cuts and a piece of fruit
- Continental breakfast, served or buffet style depending on the hotels’ customs, consisting of coffee, milk, tea, bread,butter and jam
- meals with a fixed tourist menu (in some facilities consumption is planned in shifts and menus may be different from those served to other guests)
- VAT as per D.P.R. 633/72 in effect at the time of the offer; in case of increases or introduction of new taxes, including abroad,
- prices will have to be adjusted to the changes.
NOT include:
- tourist taxes, pitcher drinking water, mineral water and beverages with meals (except when otherwise specified
- insurance coverage;
- sometimes do not include surcharge for heating/air conditioning and use of parking;
- access to beauty salons, indoor discos, spa pools, sports centers and other services not inherent in the treatments listed in the price table;
- daily change of towels and supply of bath soaps is not always guaranteed for student groups.
ALLERGIES or SPECIFIC DIETS
Notifications must be received when making travel arrangements because contracted suppliers are not always organized to provide special meals and sometimes charge extra for differentiating set menus. In spite of appropriate notices, we always advise interested passengers to be responsible for themselves, to bring suitable foods with them, and in any case to be recognized by the dining supervisor, both in hotels and restaurants, to avoid unpleasant misunderstandings
ROOM ARRANGEMENTS
GROUPS OF STUDENTS:
NO “CLASSROOM” or SINGLE FLOOR HOTEL accommodations ARE GUARANTEED.
- multiple rooms for students (also with bunk beds) ; double and single rooms for accompanying persons, subject to availability and with relative supplement
- Please indicate the exact composition of the group when making an estimate, as in the event that the number of accompanying persons exceeds 10% of the group members, in addition to a different pricing, the possible accommodation will also have to be agreed upon in advance. It should be noted that often abroad (in Italy more rarely) hotels have non-separable double beds

FREE
No. 1 free of charge in double or multiple occupancy for every 25 participants (including drivers) is provided,unless otherwise specified or agreed upon in the QUOTE and in the ORDER ACCOUNT EXTRACT.
No free charge is provided for insurance coverage and resort fees.

- Double bedrooms destined for thristmas, New Year, Holidays, Fairs and Special Events
- EASTER, CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR’S EVE, HOLIDAYS, FAIRS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

TOURIST TAX
Any tourist taxes ARE EXCLUDED from prices (except in some foreign destinations duly indicated )and must be paid at the hotel, upon arrival, directly by the Clients (with rare exceptions); they are not subject to gratuity.
BOOKING MONUMENTS AND MUSEUMS
For reservations of entrances to museums, monuments and exhibitions, in Italy and Europe (where it is possible to do so) a reservation fee will be charged (non-refundable in case of cancellation) ,in addition to any fees required by the Institution, as indicated in the case-by-case estimates.
NO SHOW
We request the most accurate communication of the number of participants as in case of no-shows ,or cancellations since the last transmitted list, suppliers may charge “no show” penalties (up to 100%).
SECURITY DEPOSITS
Many hotels require groups to pay a security deposit upon arrival. This amount will be returned upon departure, if the group has not caused damage to the facility (or actions of disturbance to other hotel guests with inappropriate behavior such as to result in complaints or cancellations). it is advisable that Clients on arrival report to the hotel management any pre-existing damage, otherwise they will be charged directly .
As this is a private negotiation between Client and Hotel, Dolcevita Travel cannot be held responsible for any withholding of the deposit by the hotel and cannot intervene to prevent its application or discuss the reasons for it. In case of failure to return such deposits, any deductions from the balance of our invoices will not be accepted
REVIEWS FROM INTERNET SITES
After confirmation, cancellations, or requests for substitution of services, as a result of viewing any negative reviews subsequently found from internet sites, will be subject to the application of the cancellation penalty (indicated in the General Conditions of Sale) Since such comments, both positive and negative, are free and unchecked, their relativity and therefore unreliability is evident. Customers are invited to appropriate reflections, considerations and choices …before booking
HOTEL DESCRIPTION AND CATEGORY
The categories of the proposed hotels are the official ones. In the absence of officially recognized classifications by the competent public authorities of the countries also members of the EU, Dolcevita Travel will exhibit a description of the accommodation such as to allow an evaluation and subsequent acceptance of the same.
VOUCHERS WARNINGS
Instructions in relation to reservation vouchers to be delivered to suppliers in exchange for the provision of services:
Verify that the number of people listed on the vouchers matches the actual number of participants in the trip.
In most cases, the number of people shown on the vouchers will be used to issue invoices
(so this is a very important step for all booked services, particularly for restaurants, for which the voucher is actually the only way to be able to check the actual meals consumed).
However, there are many providers who bill based on the last participant list received in writing and therefore also count no-shows. Therefore, in the event that for no-shows there are agreements between the parties on the spot, to avoid subsequent unpleasant disputes, it is necessary for the group leader to obtain a signed statement from the supplier prior to departure confirming that no penalty will be charged for no-shows found.
Instructions regarding booking vouchers that must be given to suppliers in exchange for the provision of services:
verify that the number of people indicated on the vouchers corresponds to the actual number of participants in the trip.

Please send, at least 7 days before departure, the list of names of final participants, with date of birth and residence; the same list should also be presented at the hotel.
TRAVEL ABROAD
For foreign travel, you must verify before departure that participants have suitable valid documents
Not all hotels are willing to print boarding passes to groups and ,in most cases, there is a charge for this service. It is always necessary to check with each individual hotel about the feasibility of the request and its cost.
TRAVEL MEALS AND BASKETS
For the arrangement of any travel baskets, in lieu of lunches or dinners, make specific request at least 48 hours in advance to verify the feasibility
For meals in restaurants or hotels, please be punctual in order to get the best service. The midday meal is normally served between 12 noon and 1:30 p.m., and the evening meal between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., unless otherwise agreed and specified on the voucher. In case of delays from the indicated times, you should notify the restaurant, or the hotel, to verify the feasibility of the service, which if negative does not exempt the group from payment
To report in advance and in writing the presence of participants with food intolerances, or who for other personal reasons cannot consume particular foods.
Not all hotels/restaurants (whether in Italy or Europe) are organized to serve special meals
INVOICE DISPUTE
We do not accept disputes about invoices after 15 days have elapsed from the date of the invoice; after that time, we consider ourselves authorized to proceed with payments and therefore unable to recover any dispute.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
We invite Customers to check the validity of the expatriation documents of booked passengers in good time at:

In the absence of such verification, no liability for the non-departure of one or more consumers can be attributed to Dolcevita Travel Agency Srl.
