Program: 8 Days/7 Nights

Day 1: Palermo – Monreale

Arrival of the group at PalermoAirport, meeting with the bus and local guide and beginning of the guided tour of this vibrant city where Arab, Norman and Baroque influences come together. You will visit the Cathedral, the Norman Palace and its precious Palatine Chapel, the fountain in Piazza Pretoria adorned with the famous marble sculptures, the Church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti

Lunch at a restaurant. In the early afternoon we will reach Monreale with a guided tour of the imposing Arab-Norman Cathedral, called the eighth wonder of the world embellished with its golden Byzantine mosaics.

At the end of the visit, return to Palermo, check into the hotel, dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Segesta – Erice – Saline di Trapani

After Breakfast, depart for a guided tour of Segesta,one of the most striking archaeological sites on the island. You will see the magnificent Doric Temple, perfectly preserved and set in a breathtaking hilly landscape, a symbol of the grandeur of the Elymian civilization, the Greek Theater, located in a panoramic position, from which you will enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding valleys and the sea.

After exploring Segesta, continue to Erice, a charming medieval town perched on Mount San Giuliano. Stroll through the cobblestone streets and you will discover the secrets of this place without. You will admire the ancient walls, the Castle of Venus and the many churches that tell stories of a glorious past. Don’t forget to stop at one of the historic local pastry shops to enjoy delicious almond cakes and the famous genovesi ericine, cream-filled sweets.

The tour continues to the west coast, visit the striking Salt Pans of Trapani and Paceco, a protected natural area where time seems to stand still. See the windmills and salt ponds, which turn shades of pink and gold at sunset, creating a picture-postcard view.

Lunch at a restaurant. You will discover the ancient tradition of sea salt production, a cultural heritage passed down through the centuries. For a complete experience, visit the Salt Museum, where you will learn about the history and processing techniques of this precious product. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Mothia – Selinunte

Breakfast at the Hotel and departure for Mothia (Island of San Pantaleo), ituated in the beautiful Stagnone of Marsala. This ancient Phoenician colony will surprise you with its timeless charm. Guided tour of the archaeological excavations, you will admire the famous Youth of Mothia, a perfectly preserved Greek sculpture housed in the Whitaker Museum.

Continue with a visit to Selinunte, one of the largest archaeological parks in Europe. Your expert guide will narrate the events of this city, from its founding by the Greeks in the 7th century B.C. to its destruction by the Carthaginians, allowing you to immerse yourself in an era of myths, battles and extraordinary culture. Lunch at a restaurant. Afterlunch, depart for Agrigento, a city famous for its extraordinary Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check into hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Agrigento – Piazza ArmerinaAcireale

After breakfast, guided tour of the majestic Valley of the Temples, one of the most important and spectacular archaeological sites in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The guided tour will take you to discover the magnificent Doric temples, witnesses to the greatness of Greek civilization: Temple of Concord: Perfectly preserved, it is one of the most outstanding examples of Doric architecture in the world.

Day 5: Acireale – Etna – Taormina

After breakfast, depart for an exciting excursion to Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, located just a few kilometers from Acireale. This extraordinary experience will take you to discover one of the most fascinating and evocative natural environments in the world.

Accompanied by an experienced guide, we will ascend to the summit craters (depending on weather and volcanic conditions), where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the entire eastern coast of Sicily and the lava landscapes that characterize the volcano. During the excursion, you will have the opportunity to explore the most recent craters and lava flows that have shaped the surrounding area, creating a unique landscape.

Stop for lunch at a typical restaurant, where you can enjoy fresh, traditional Sicilian dishes while enjoying a moment of relaxation after the Etna hike.

At the end of lunch, Continue to Taormina, where a guided tour awaits you to discover the wonders of this pearl of Sicily. Day 6: Acireale – Syracuse – Noto

Ortigia Island, the historic heart of Syracuse, with its picturesque narrow streets, the Cathedral Square and the splendid Syracuse Cathedral, built on the remains of an ancient Doric temple.

Lunch in a restaurant with a typical menu. Then continue to Noto the capital of Sicilian Baroque, famous for its extraordinary architecture and unparalleled elegance. Day 7: Catania – Riviera of the Cyclops

The tour will take you to discover the city’s main sights, including: Piazza del Duomo, the beating heart of Catania, with the majestic Cathedral of St. Agatha and the famous Fountain of the Elephant, a symbol of the city. Lunch in a restaurant. After lunch in the restaurant, we will continue to the Riviera dei Ciclopi, one of the most fascinating and evocative areas of the Sicilian east coast, famous for its breathtaking landscapes and accompanying mythological legends. The Riviera of the Cyclops takes its name from the ancient legend of the Odyssey, in which Odysseus met the Cyclops Polyphemus. Along the way, you will be able to admire the wonderful panorama that stretches along the sea, with its characteristic lava cliffs and fascinating islands of crystal-clear water.

The tour of the Etnean territory will conclude with Acireale, one of the most charming towns on the Riviera dei Ciclopi, famous for its Baroque historic center and thermal baths that have been attracting visitors for centuries. Day 8: Acireale – Cefalù – Palermo – Return

After breakfast, depart for Cefalù, one of the pearls of Sicily’s northern coast, famous for its enchanting historic center and its extraordinary Norman Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guided tour of the historic center, which includes characteristic medieval alleys and picturesque squares. You’ll stroll along the seafront promenade, overlooking the crystal clear sea, and admire the medieval wash house, still in working order.

Lunch at a restaurant. At the end of lunch Palermo will bid you farewell. Transfer in uitable time to the airport for return to your locations
