A wonderful experience to discover the traditions and secrets of the region. The preparation moments are accompanied by an aperitif with focaccia and white wine. Typical Ligurian cookies(canestrelli) can also be tasted.

Day 3: Gulf of Tigullio
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning meet with tour guide to discover the Tigullio Gulf(Camogli, San Fruttuoso, Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure).
Camogli is a small fishing village, a pleasant surprise to discover on the Ligurian Riviera. This place is considered one of the best towns to experience the beauty of typical Ligurian tower-houses. While in the past the area was full of warehouses with fishing equipment and fishing boat workshops, the new waterfront is now the center of the town’s tourist life. It is home to many bars and restaurants, souvenir and craft stores, and art galleries.
Then it is possible to reach by boat San Fruttuoso, a small fishing village situated in a beautiful bay at the foot of Mount Portofino. This extraordinary location is dominated by theAbbey of San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte, a monument, now part of the FAI, with very ancient origins dating back to the 8th century. The abbey is surrounded by a small beach, a church, a tower belonging to the Doria family and some small fishermen’s houses, which are reflected in the emerald blue sea, against a dark green background of pine trees. Free time to enjoy in this lovely place, for a relaxing swim in the sea or just sunbathing on the beach.
San Fruttuoso is also famous for the underwater statue of Christ of the Abyss, which is 15 meters deep below the surface of the sea. It is possible to see it when the sea is transparent!
Another boat ride takes you to Portofino Bay, a beautiful gem set in the lush vegetation of the Promontory. Its tall, colorful houses, arranged in a semicircle around the town square, make Portofino one of the world’s most acclaimed tourist resorts. The atmosphere calls to mind moments from a distant past, ancient traditions related to the sea, and the skilled arts that embody the colors and scents of Liguria. Its park is an oasis of peace where you can walk completely immersed in nature, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
After a short walk to the place called “The Three Lakes,” with breathtaking views of Portofino, visit a farm, where olive oil tasting will begin along with Nostralino wine tasting. An agronomist will explain the secrets of the products, and in the meantime bruschetta with fresh sauces and tomatoes, Niasca black olives, vegetable pie, focaccia and a selection of canapés with jam will be enjoyed.
After lunch it is possible to take a boat to Santa Margherita Ligure. Here there is a promenade that runs parallel to the driveway below, but it is completely surrounded by greenery and offers many panoramic views.

Day 4: Cinque Terre Park
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning meet your tour guide to discover the Cinque Terre, an unspoiled natural paradise where nature and man have found the right balance and harmony. The Cinque Terre are five small villages(Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola, Corniglia, Riomaggiore) famous throughout the world.
All five towns are perched on the mountain overlooking the sea, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and small roads. In fact, each town is connected to one another by paths. The houses are typically Ligurian, painted in pastel colors and built as close to each other as possible.
Since 1997, they have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
We begin with a visit to discover Monterosso, which is the westernmost town in the Cinque Terre. Monterosso is definitely a good place to watch the sunset on the beach.
The Aurora Tower divides the old medieval village from the new part of the village. The old village is dominated by castle ruins, typical tower-houses, and “carrugi.”
After visiting Monterosso we continue to Vernazza considered by many to be the most beautiful of the Cinque Terre. There is a castle of the Doria family there, a symbol of its importance to the old economy.
After lunch we will continue to Manarola. The town is located on a rugged promontory of dark rock. The square is located at the highest part of the town.
