Day 1: Destination Reims
Depart in the morning by own motorcoach. Arrival in Reims, the heart of the Champagne region.
Guided tour of Reims Cathedral, coronation site of French kings, with focus on historical details and Chagall’s stained glass windows.
Experience in a selected Champagne house (Taittinger, Pommery or Ruinart): exclusive tour of the chalk-carved cellars and tasting of three different cuvées, with explanation of differences in terroir and winemaking methods
Dinner at the hotel, overnight in Reims
Day 2: Epernay – Route de Champagne
After breakfast departure for Epernay. Meet with local guide and Visit to a selected Champagne Maison: a guided tour of the underground cellars (dug into the chalk) of one of the most renowned Champagne houses. Here, the group will discover the Champagne production process, from grape harvesting to fermentation, and admire the barrels and bottles resting for aging.
At the end of the tour, participants will participate in a tasting of different Champagne cuvées, led by an expert sommelier who will explain the characteristics of each bottle, the differences in flavors and production methods.
Hawe lunch on our own
At the end a walk along one of Champagne’s most famous streets, where historic Champagne houses such as Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouët and others are located. The guide will provide historical details about these prestigious wineries, telling the evolution of wine in the region and the stories of the famous producers.
Return to Reims, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Burgundy: Dijon amidst Mustard, Heritage Wines
After breakfast, depart in the direction of Burgundy. Arrival in Dijon, the former capital of the Dukes of Burgundy.
Guided tour of the historic center, stopping at the Palace of the Dukes and the Chouette de Dijon (local good luck charm).
Gastronomic experience in the historic Moutarderie Fallot: discover the artisanal production of the famous Dijon mustard, with tasting of various flavored types

Afternoon on the Route des Grands Crus with a visit to a boutique winery in Gevrey-Chambertin: walk through the vineyards, explanation of terroir and vertical tasting of Pinot Noir.
Gourmet dinner at a Maison de Vin, with traditional Burgundy dishes and local wine pairings

Day 4: Beaune and the Route of the Grand Crus of Burgundy
Breakfast and departure for Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy.
Exclusive guided tour of the Hospices de Beaune, an ancient medieval hospital with ornate ceilings and a history associated with wine charity
Tasting at a historic winery in Nuits-Saint-Georges, with a visit to the barriques and tasting of Premier and Grand Cru wines

Free time in Beaune to explore historic stores and buy local specialties.

Day 5: Bordeaux – Saint-Emilion and its underground city
Breakfast at hotel, load luggage and depart in the direction of Bordeaux. Intermediate stop in Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO medieval village.
Meet with local guide and exclusive tour of the underground city of Saint-Émilion, with access to the monolithic church carved into the rock.
Private visit to a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Château, with explanation of the particularities of Merlot and tasting directly from the barrels.

Arrival in Bordeaux in the late afternoon. Dinner at a restaurant overlooking the river.

6° Giorno: Bordeaux e la Route des Chateaux Del Médoc
After breakfast, meet your guide and take a guided tour of the historic center, with focus on Place de la Bourse and the Grand Théâtre.
Excursion to the Route des Châteaux of the Médoc, with a visit to two famous wine estates:
Château Margaux or Château Latour, with explanation of Cabernet Sauvignon winemaking techniques
More modern Château with experiential tasting, paired with chocolate or aged cheeses
Lunch-tasting at a winery with local products and vintage wines
Dinner and overnight stay in Bordeaux
Day 7: Loire Valley and Return
Breakfast and departure for the Loire Valley with a stop for a guided tour of an iconic castle (Chambord or Chenonceau).
Tasting of Loire wines (Vouvray or Sancerre) at a small family-run winery
After the tasting, depart for the return to your locations.
